Her soon to be mother in law insisted on taking photos of her and her fiancé insisted on just letting her so she did so reluctantly. There was something strange about the woman that she couldn't put a finger on and everything in her was screaming to run. She was put in clothes that smelled of dust and moths, posed in a particular way to make sure the ring they slipping on her finger was visible, and the camera, ancient but not too old, was ready. His mother said it was a hobby to take photos like they did in the olden days but with a sort've modern twist. She looked at her betrothed apprehensively and the first shot was taken. As more pictures were shot, she felt increasingly tired and... Old. She glanced down at her hands and saw they were withering and covered in liver spots. She began screaming but didn't cover the ring so as more shots were taken the older she got until that was it. She was dead. She had no way of knowing that was the plan all along let alone how to stop it. They carefully removed the clothing and the ring which held half the power to steal souls as the other half was the camera. Splitting the prize, they smiled as another victim had kept themselves practically immortal for at least another 50 years.
