I get alot of messages asking me about how to build muscle. And I often give a long answer because the answer is not as simple as everyone wants it to be. And now I’ll quickly summarize the most important things for building muscle💪🏼 - TRAINING. If you are a complete beginner. Alot of things will be confusing. So just find a proven strength program on the internet and commit to it. A ton of good ones out there! I also have a free beginner program. DM if you are interested!📈 - NUTRITION. Food is super important when looking at building muscle and performing well in the gym. You should eat in a calorie surplus. This means that you eat more calories than what your body needs. So that you build muscle easier. But DONT eat to much calories. That will just make you fat. Do a lean bulk🌮 - SLEEP. Not ONLY does getting sufficient sleep improve your natural testosterone levels, but it also makes you recover faster from your workouts. Thus letting you train more and get even bigger. Prioritize your sleep!😴 - ADHERENCE. No matter how “optimal” your program is, it doesn’t matter if you are not able to stick to it. Maybe you just don’t like certain exercises. And that’s okey! Do something you enjoy. Previously struggling going up and down in weight - taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back. - Frustrated not having the clarity that suited her busy lifestyle so she could get to where she wanted to be AND maintain it.... - She started to not feel like herself, body confidence was low holding her back from wearing bikinis, and changed her dress sense completely to were she was always opting to wear baggier clothes. - She wanted to feel young for her children and grandchildren and have all the energy to do things with them. - These impacts and these challenges was going on for 12-13years!. - Not because she wasn’t trying..She was just stuck and confused on what the right steps were for her.. - She then reached out and she’s a super super Inspo on not letting age be an excuse to go for your fitness goals (She’s 52 btw!). - We took away all the guess work & looked at her busy lifestyle so we could work WITH it which made being consistent easy when you make micro adjustments that suit that individual 💪🏼
